About PoD Diving
PoD Diving is a part of Personal Overseas Development (PoD), set up to specifically focus on diving opportunities around the world.

PoD was set up in 2001 by Mike Beecham, Alex Tarrant and Rachel Smith. Our lives have been shaped by the many different places we have travelled, the people we have met and the things we have done around the world. We are passionate about helping others to share these experiences and to get and give the most out of life.

Why choose PoD Diving?

  • Careful choice of locations and dive schools - we only offer places that we believe represent a great combination of diving and lifestyle, and we only work with high quality well established dive schools.

  • Thorough knowledge of diving - we are all keen divers (Alex is a PADI Divemaster)

  • UK support and advice pre-departure - by email or phone

  • Value for money, with no 'hidden extras'

  • Challenging, fun and safe experiences

  • Personal approach

  • Responsible travel - see our responsible travel policy for more details.

We are a small company that focuses on quality and safety rather than quantity.

What else does PoD do?

As well as organising diving, PoD provides the opportunity for people to volunteer and make a difference overseas, while experiencing incredible parts of the world that are rich in culture, variety and natural beauty. We organise gap year, career break and working holiday volunteer placements in Belize, Cambodia, Malawi, Nepal, Peru, Tanzania and Thailand. For more details visit www.thepodsite.co.uk
